NORTH TAMPA. D.G. Yuengling first began brewing beer in 1829 in Pennsylvania. Now, 170 years later, the company is still going strong and has opened its newest facility in Tampa. Tours of the complex are given weekdays and include complimentary tastings of the company's product. Visits are free, and no reservations are necessary, but you must wear closed-toed shoes. A gift shop on the premises offers souvenirs, including pilsner glasses, sweatshirts, caps and posters.
